Wilson Pruitt is the lead pastor of Covenant United Methodist Church in Austin, Texas. He hosts the History of Methodism Podcast, translates Latin and French texts for scholarly audiences, and builds open-source tools for churches and communities. Over the last few years, he has written Advent, Lent, and Easter devotions on the Covenant Substack where you can find old devotions or sign up for new ones. He also produced a 30-devotion series on the Gospel of Mark titled Thirty Days with Jesus.

Collaboration with his two kids has led to a children's book about large numbers titled Big Head Little Body presents What is a Big Number? The other project is a young adult science fiction/fantasy story in a world created by his older son, Dominic, during a worldbuilding session. The first book was published in 2020 titled Max and the Tower. The second book, The Journey Back, continues the story of Max and his friends.

Wilson is a composer and performer — chamber music, choral works, children's songs about lesser-told stories from the Bible, and original songs on Spotify and SoundCloud. His Octet for the History of Music traces the development of Western music in eight movements.
